Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Assistance (ESA)

New to ESA? We’ll help you every step of the way.

Arizona’s ESA program allows families to use public education funds for programs like LaunchKids Academy. Most families qualify, and we’ll guide you through the whole process.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes!

We are an approved vendor through Arizona’s Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program. Once your child is accepted, we’ll walk you through how to submit payments through ClassWallet, the ESA payment portal.

  • At this time, our full-day program is available only as a full-time option to ensure consistency, routine, and social connection for our students.

However, our Social Skills Group offers a flexible, part-time opportunity for school-aged children to receive targeted support and enrichment.

  • If you're using ESA funds, tuition is paid through the ClassWallet portal after we walk you through the setup.

If you're paying privately, we offer:

    • Monthly and weekly invoicing (by request) via Newton

All payments will be automatically deducted on the 1st of each month or every Monday (if paying weekly). We do not require any registration or supply fees for founding families.

  • No. As part of our Founding Families Program, we are waiving registration fees for all students enrolled in our first year.

If a family is interested in joining our Summer Program, there is a one-time $150 Summer Program fee but the tuition will remain the same. You will be provided with a reminder 2 months before the start of the summer program to notify us if your child will be participating.

    • Full-Day Program: We recommend a school-year commitment (10 months) to support continuity, relationship-building, and routine. Our program is built so that each week builds off of the previous.

    • Social Skills Groups: Enrollment is monthly with no long-term commitment.

  • We’re currently finalizing our location in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area and will announce our exact site soon! Our goal is to offer a safe, convenient space that supports both learning and play. Families who join our interest list will receive updates first.

  • No problem! Many of our families are new to ESA. We’ll help you apply, guide you through the process, and answer your questions. You’re welcome to start with private pay and switch to ESA once approved.

  • Our full-day program is capped at 12 students, with a low student-to-teacher ratio to ensure personalized support and connection.

  • Absolutely! We welcome all learners and provide a sensory-informed, neurodiverse-inclusive curriculum built to support each child’s needs.

  • Absolutely. We speak Spanish fluently and are happy to assist Spanish-speaking families with enrollment, ESA setup, and program questions. You can also translate this site using the language button in the corner of the screen. We can also communicate directly with children in Spanish if that is the best way they learn.

  • Children follow a structured daily rhythm that blends circle time, discovery play, outdoor learning, enrichment, and group social coaching.

Check out our Curriculum page for more specific details.

  • We’ll send a simple list before your child’s first day along with a detailed handbook. Usually just a backpack, change of clothes, and a lunch/snack. No uniforms or tablets required.
